First if you set the Settings > reading blog page to the blog page you create WordPress will ignore the module settings and use the index.php default style instead.
Please don't set any "Posts page" from Settings > Reading, leave it blank.
Then for the sidebar problem it's maybe a problem with the row settings, the "type" should be set to "in container".
Please re-contact us if this doesn't fix the problem.
I'm trying to get the custom Multi Author Layout to work: http://thefoxwp.com/multi-author-layout/multi-author-right-sidebar/
* I've set Settings --> Reading --> Blog --> to the appropriate page
* I've made the page with the blog element and set to Multi Author
Problems I'm running into:
If I set the page to be the blog page: the profile pictures and timelines on the left side don't show up
If I change it so that the page isn't the official "blog" page - none of the articles are summarized and are displayed full length
If I enable the sidebar - it looks all messed up
Suggestions
