I'm trying to translate some words of the theme, but it has been
impossible for me. I have reviewed some tickets regarding this topic, but I have
some doubts. I'm using the child theme and Wordpress is set on Dutch.
So, when I look into the
lang folder, there are two files who have already been called:
nl_NL.po and nl_NL.mo (I
haven't created these files).
These
files are already translated into Dutch. But all the English words on the website still appears in English. What can I do to see all
the English words into Dutch words with these already translated files?
First you need to set WordPress to the language you want to use, so in your case Dutch, if the nl_NL.po is not translating the words of your site it's probably because it's incomplete :
The easiest way to translate the theme is to use Poedit and to create a po file of your language.
You can find the .po file in the lang folder.
Download the poedit program ( https://poedit.net/ ) and create a new translation, open the en.po file which is in our theme lang folder.
Then select the language you want to use and start to translate,
When you are done translating save the file in the lang folder and upload it to your server.

Please try to go edit the file and see if the words you want to translate are set correctly.
