I was checking the mobile menu styling and that one was not set to transparent.
The header background color in TheFox > Header styling, the background color was set to transparent indeed.
When I remove the checkmark, I don't see the ghostmenu, but (obviously) the background menu is no longer transparant anymore. So both is not possible? I want the menu to be transparant of course, now I have set it to semitransparant.
Hello,
When I reduce the size of my browser window, suddenly a second menu appears. It is a ghost menu, because the items are not clickable.
On large window, it looks at should be:
https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B-wg0nlbVjJgRk8wRkpEQlZraVU
on smaller size window (between 1024 and 755 px), also on my ipad:
https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B-wg0nlbVjJgVWt3T0pCRkNFWXc
When the size is further reduced the normal mobile menu is shown.
How to change this behaviour, so I don't see the ghost menu?
Thank in advance,
Rob
Hello Rob,
Have you added any custom css?
It seems that the mobile menu don't have a background color set ( currently transparent )
This is the problem.

I had added this, I found it in another ticket:
@media only screen and (max-width: 767px){
header, .header_bottom_nav { display: none !important; }
}
I removed it now, and background color mobile menu is default, but still see the 'ghost' menu.
Hello Rob,
Could you go to Thefox > Header styling and make sure you don't have the "Transparent" checkbox checked for the header background color.

I will play around with the settings.
Thanks,
I don't see it on the main start page, nut it is still visible on the "contact" page.
How is that possible? Where to adjust that?
Thanks again,
Br
Hello Rob,
I think you are misunderstanding how to set the transparent menu.
To set the transparent menu : http://thefoxwp.com/wp-content/themes/TheFox/includes/documentation/thefox_documentation.html#create-page-transheader
