Is there a way to remove the Staff post type? I'm using a separate plugin to display team of the company and having two might be confusing for end user.
I still like to use the other special types - partners & portfolio, so disabling the Fox plugin is not the solution

If you want to do this you would to add custom code or edit the plugin.
Custom code you can add in the functions.php :
function delete_post_type(){ unregister_post_type( 'staff' ); } add_action('init','delete_post_type', 100);This should do the trick.
