We have made the purchase of thefox license to update an already purchased theme. As it says in the product description, you get visual composure with thefox theme. What we want to do is update the theme and visual composure plugin which already exist on the website.
Please advise the best way for us to update Visual Composure and TheFox. Thank you.
Unfortunately I am still encountering some big issues with this update.
Through Themeforest, I am not able to see where I can find my license to update Visual Composure, it says it was a part of the theme that we purchased, however I need to enter a license to have it update.
Upon updating the theme, it is now giving us a fatal error, if you look at the filepath of the error, it looks like it goes back to the vc_templates folder, which leads me to believe the issue may be the out of date Visual Composure with the new theme. Is there a way we can access a purchase code for Visual Composure so we can begin using our purchase of thefox?

- Go to plugins and deactivate and delete the visual composer.
- Update the theme to the latest version : Theme update
- Then go to Appearance > Install plugins to install the plugin new version.

You don't need the license to any plugins to update the plugins.
What you need to do is to deactivate and delete the plugins you want to update.
Then if you update the theme the latest plugins file will be included so when you go to
Appearance > Install plugins to install the plugins the latest version will be installed.
The other option is to update the plugins zip file directly.
You can find the plugins file in thefox/include/plugins folder.
Then from Plugins > Add new you can upload the zip file of the plugins you want to use.
If you updated the theme but are using an old version of the visual composer it may create fatal error because they removed / changed function name.
Go to your ftp wp-content/plugins and delete the js_composer folder, this should fix the problem.
