I am using version 3.1.3 of the theme and have a local server running PHP 7.2.0. I install the theme and the demo content and the pages load fine. However, the editor with WPBakery doesn't load any elements (see attachment). That page is the business 4 page, and it's published view looks great.
I loaded this on another server running 5.4 and everything appears to work correctly.
Good idea. I changed the theme, and still get the errors. Though I would expect this, since the errors occur when loading the edit page in the admin panel. Is there something else I can provide to help better debug this? Are you able to reproduce it on XAMPP? I've tried multiple clean wordpress installs on the server.
i have exactly same problem with that theme , i do notk now what happened, is only on Xampp, when i upload my website on internet everything is good, help! i tryed all..
i found how repair that error, before always i got this error Warning: count(): Parameter must be an array or an object that implements Countable in...post-template.php on line 284 too, but really only with xampp so i change my localhost, Bitnami worpress , and now working perfect!
After the last update, the Visual Composer don’t show the pages layout in admin. In front everything is Ok, but i can’t make changes in admin, because the VC show me the page without any items. After inspect the page in admin with CHROME Console, i see this: post.php?post=58&action=edit:4566 GET http://stilianpenev.eu/wp-content/themes/thefox/images/vc_icons/vc_timeline_date.png 404 (Not Found)
Afer upload some image and rename it with this name, the problem is still in the VC, only the error in console is gone.
Yes, all plugins, Wordpress and theme was updated. I stopped all plugins to check if the problem is in the plugins compatible. At the final, i deleted js_composer and uploaded the last version, but the problem is still. Envato doesn't allow me to post new ticket because my license is expired. This is the reason to write here in the publick ticket.

Hello Chet, thanks for purchasing Thefox!
Are you using the latest version of the wpbakery?
Also if you disable the other plugins you are using you still have the same problem?

How to Update your Theme
I'm using 5.4.5 of WPBakery, and still see the error when WPBakery is the only plugin activated.
The setup I have is:
XAMPP: 7.2.0: https://www.apachefriends.org/xampp-files/7.2.0/xampp-win32-7.2.0-0-VC15-installer.exe
Wordpress: 4.9.2
I installed the Classic_content data using the Demo Importer from the theme.
Hello Chet,
If you switch the theme to the default wordpress theme, do you still have the same errors?

The same problem here.

Hello Stilian,
Did you also updated the theme and wordpress when you updated the plugin?
Try to disable the other custom plugins you are using and clear the server and browser cache.
If that doesn't fix the problem please create a new ticket.
