I couldn't find it in the documentation and I'm wondering if you can help. I'd like to add the copyright year to the footer, and have it auto-update each year.
Do you have a shortcode for that? Or can a shortcode from another plugin be added to one of the text blocks in the Footer Sub area?
I tried that and it didn't work -- however, it does work if I add the shortcode to a widget and place the widget in the Footer Main area. But the reason I don't want to do that is it would be nice for my client to be able use your tool to manage all of the footer content; I hope to use only the Footer Sub, and not use the Footer Main area. (see screenshot)
First thanks for the feedback, we don't have a shortcode that do that, also the footer sub bar currently doesn't accept shortcode but we will let our dev know about this and they will include it in the next update.
So in the meanwhile, please add the date manually, I am sure our devs will manage to update the theme before 2019
