Hello, posts and pages have revisions support by default, but your "portfolio" custom post type hasn't.
I discovered though that your all register_post_type functions are saved in the plugin thefox_cp, and tried to add 'revisions' support, as you see in the screenshot, with no success. if I go to check in screen options in the portfolio edit screen the checkbox does not appear. Which is a very odd thing, it should be working by no means!
Then try to create new portfolio post, the revisions will not show up for the old one, if that also don't show up for the new one then this is related to your web hosting limiting the revisions features.

Some hosting disable additional revisions feature because of the way they manage the server database.
If you added the "revisions" to the custom post it should show up, you can check on google about this or ask your web hosting to know if they allow you to use revisions on custom posts.

At some point I realized that Revisions appeared only after doing a modification and save on a post. Also the checkbox was already flagged. Strange way od showing up, anyway it worked! :)

Or maybe you can add this as a standard feature to your theme?

If you are talking about the post revisions then it is not related to the theme but to your wordpress settings :
