I've got a problem with my wordpress site not accepting the WPBakery options that I set for the posts page. This happens when I set a specific page to be the posts page in Settings - Reading.
If I setup a page (choicecoaching.us/blogtest) to display blog - grid trending (Screen1 attachment) I get exactly what I expect (screen2 attachment). As soon as I go into Settings - Reading and set my posts page as blogtest, suddenly it reverts the layout to the standard layout (screen3 attachment)
How can I make it so that my posts page displays the blog layout appropriately?

If you set the "Post" page, then it will use the theme default template.
So we advise you to not use it and just create a blog page using the module.
