I just installed the theme for my website but, the theme came with WPBakery rather than the visual composer. I installed the visual composer but I can't get access to the premium features.

I just need for now a one page website and it seems that your theme is completely broken and extremely difficult to configure.

Please provide up-to date documentation of how to create each of the pages in the demo. If your product does not work as a stand alone application you should at least license-free third party features.

Also, it is not safe to provide obsolete premium third-party plugins that can't be updated. Please do not bundle third party premium features that can't be updated after some time. This compromises the security of the server!

Please provide a solution to these issues ASAP or issue a refund.

Hello Erick, thanks for purchasing Thefox!

We use the WPbakery page builder, not the "Visual composer" to build our demos.

You can install and update the plugin after activating the theme :

    Plugins Update.

    Plugins Licenses

Then, you can select the demo you want to import from Appearance > Import demo data.

Do not hesitate to contact us if you have more questions.

    Have a nice day!

    Best Regards.

    Hi,

Thanks for your reply. This seems to reactivate the WPBakery premium features. The plugin is now asking to be activated and updated. I gather that you are repackaging and redistributing the premium plugins. I guess that is up to you and WPBakery licensing terms. What I am worried about is that you are lagging in the security updates for the third party plug-ins, which most likely will be lagging by themselves. This will specially be critical after the 6 month support agreement for the theme runs out. What is your charge for extending support?

    Hi Erick,

The plugin is "Activated", they just ask you to "activate" to make you buy the plugin but there is no need to do so.

If you keep our theme updated you should be able to access the plugins update from Appearance > Install plugins so you should be ok.

Even when the support end, you will still be able to update our theme and the plugins we include, so there is no need to worry about this.

To extend the support I think envato ask for 41$.
