The backend editor (I think that's what it's called) in WPBakery is not working in my posts or pages. All I get is short code and text.
I submitted a support ticket to WPBakery. They said to deactivate all of my plugins, and reactive them one-by-one to see if one of my plugins is causing the problem. Even with all of the plugins deactivated (except WPBakery), I'm still experiencing a problem.
I tried installing the plugin "Enable jQuery Migrate Helper", and that did nothing.
I installed The Fox update released yesterday (8.19.20). That did nothing.
Am I missing something? Or is another update forthcoming that will fix the issue?
I'm having similar issues. I updated wordpress and it broke everything. I reverted to the previous version and things are still behaving oddly. I can't update the theme in wordpress, WPBakery/Visual Composer are not working properly....

You need to update the theme to the latest version
Theme update
Then clear the cache :

If you don't clear the cache, the site will still use the old files and thus you will continue to get the same errors.
