Columns margins in VCP

First off, I think this is a VCP problem, and not directly from The Fox. But seeing I don't have a Visual Composer License, I'll have to ask this here.

    • Situation: I'm trying to create a row with 4 colored boxes with text and an icon next to each other, with no space between the boxes.
    • What I tried: Created a row with 4 columns, set the margins to 0 to all of them, and gave them their background colors and text.
    • Result / problem: The entire row doesn't fill out to 100% anymore, seeing as a 1/4 col has a width of 23.125%; ... The row fills up to only 92.5% .. leaving a white space at right side of the row.

I know I van solve it with custom css .. but it just seems weird that one can adjust margin / padding / border. But the columns don't adjust itself to how it should.

So, am I doing something wrong here??

Hello Saskia, Thanks for purchasing Thefox!

For the moment the row doesn\'t resize automatically even if you set the margin to 0.

If you want to make 4 colored boxes without using a full width row then like you said you will need to add custom css ( add custom class to your column and add width:25%!important; )

In the next update we will make a script that check the column width and recalculate the width if the margin is set to 0.

    Sorry for the inconvenience.
