You just need to translate the po file of the theme, then make sure you use the brazil version of wordpress and the theme will automatically use the traduction you made.
You can also use the WPML plugin ( not free tho )
Do not hesitate to contact us if you have other questions.
For translation you need to create the po file for your language.
The easiest way to translate the theme is to use Poedit and to create a po file of your language.
You can find the .po file in the lang folder.
Download the poedit program ( https://poedit.net/ ) and create a new translation, open the en.po file which is in our theme lang folder.
Then select the language you want to use and start to translate, When you are done translating save the file in the lang folder and upload it to your server.
I am having trouble translating the \"All\" word from my Portfolio page. I have tried searching for it in the .po file, but the only \"All\" that I find is this one:
Hi, I was wondering if there are customer made .po files? I am looking for a Dutch translation and was hoping someone beat me to it...
Also, where can I change the language? I see there is a French translation but I cannot select the French files anywhere. No Language option in the dashboard. Thanks in advance!
I think there is already someone that translated to Dutch, but they didn't share their po files.
If you are not using the wpml plugin you can change the wordpress language from Settings > General, and if the po file of this language is found it should be used automatically.
We will try to contact the person that translated the theme and see if they are willing to share their file.
Thank the maker of the file for me, I am sure we'll put it to good use. But before that...
I cannot get the theme to translate itself. Wordpress is set on Dutch nl_NL and I uploaded the translation but nothing is showing up. Am I doing it right? I attached a screenshot of the upload location and one of the English text in the template:
If you have wordpress set to Dutch and I think the correct name for the po file is nl_NL so it should works, but maybe the customer that sent us the po file didn't translated all the theme part that's why the read more didn't changed.
Could you please download poedit and check if it's translated.
I can open it with Sublime text and do a search, almost all looks translated so that is not the problem, but if I look for "Load more" or "comments" or "search", I do not find the English entries int he file, let alone the Dutch translations. Stuff like Previous and Next are translated but are not reflected on the website.
Can you still use your temp account to check please?
In fact we checked their file and they seems to only be using a file that has a lot of common words used in most of the theme that's why it's not translating our theme.
We joined the nl_NL.po file that need to be translated, unfortunately nothing is translated yet.
Hi, I'm interested in this theme, but first I have one question...
- I work in Brazil, so, I have to translate all for my client, and where I can change things like portfolio masonry categories "all" and "load more"
(I'm asking about that because I had bad experiences with other themes)
thank you

How to Update your Theme
Hello,
I am having trouble translating the \"All\" word from my Portfolio page. I have tried searching for it in the .po file, but the only \"All\" that I find is this one:
and after I upload the .po file with the changes, it still isn\'t translated.
Thank you!
Hello,
The field set from the theme options need to be translated using wpml if you are using a multilanguage site.
If you just want to change the All word for 1 language, go to Thefox > portfolio options.
If you need more help please create a new ticket under Thefox category so we can also verify your purchase.
