I just started building my site offline (using XAMPP) and Wordpress ver 4.3 and I've run into a very annoying problem. I spent 20 or so minutes creating a layout with the backend developer only to have all that work disappear as soon as I hit the update button.
I think it has something to do with switching between "Classic Mode- Text" and "Backend" modes.
I've noticed that if a new page opens in "Classic Mode- Text" and I switch to "Backend" none of the elements I add to the page will save but if I switch back to "Classic Mode- Text" anything I type in there will save.
If I open an new page and the editor is in in "Classic Mode -Visual" and switch to "Backend Editor" any new elements added will save just fine.
Currently my work around is to not touch "Classic Mode - Text" if I do so accidently it is a gamble whether or not my work will actually save :/
Has anyone else run into this sort of issue before?
Do you have the latest version of the theme installed?
First please delete the visual composer plugin, then update the theme to 1.32 version, then go to appearance > install plugins to install the newest version of the visual composer.
If not it maybe a problem with the server settings.
YesI have the latest version of the theme installed.
I\'ve deleted and reinstalled and it seems to be working at the moment even when I switch back and forth between modes. I will let you know if the problem starts to occur again. Thanks for your help!
