Do you mean you want to make the hover effect of the shop to show a b/w image by default and when hover make the colored version show up, but if you do this the b/w picture show up in the gallery so you want to hide it?

If you want to do this go remove the line 113 of the product-image.php

echo apply_filters( \'woocommerce_single_product_image_html\', sprintf( \'<div><a href=\"%s\" itemprop=\"image\" class=\"woocommerce-main-image zoom\" title=\"%s\" data-rel=\"prettyPhoto\' . $gallery . \'\">%s</a></div>\', $image_link, $image_title, $image ), $post->ID );

and the line 39 of product thumbnail.php

echo apply_filters( \'woocommerce_single_product_image_thumbnail_html\', sprintf( \'%s\', $image ), $post->ID ); 

That should remove the main image.
