    Hi There,

First of all - The Fox is an awesome, awesome theme. Really good visuals and great to use. So thanks!

My only struggle is taking what I have designed in the BackEnd editor of Visual Composer and making it responsive. I've watched all of the videos on Visual Composers website, read through all the documentation for The Fox theme, and still can't seem to get a grasp on it. For example how to add padding/height between elements that are stacking on top of each other (but not when not stacked), and what exactly the "offset" property does.

Would you be able to explain to me please what the "Inherit from smaller", "No offset", 1 column, 2 columns, 3 columns - 12 columns mean in the Design Options of each column? (for offset, and for width?)

I'd rather not receive a link to Visual Composer support as I've paid for 6 months support with this theme, and the responsiveness of this theme seems like a crucial element (given its a part of the name of the theme). Not to mention that you remove the FrontEnd editor as it "isn't compatible with some of our modules" - I think there should be a thorough explanation/documentation of how the responsive design options function for those who would have relied on the FrontEnd editor to figure it out.

You can't rely so heavily on the Visual Composer element of this product in your marketing and then remove parts of it without explanation of why and how to actually make "TheFox | Responsive Multi-Purpose WordPress Theme" responsive...

Am I missing something? Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Hello, Thanks for purchasing Thefox!

    Glad you like our theme.

First of all you doesn\'t need to use the offset option at all to make the site responsive.

If you just want to add space between elements that are in the same column, you can use the \"Empty space\" module.

If you only have a problem with elements stacking to each other on tablet or mobile there is 2 options to fix this.

First option would be to have the columns to use top or bottom padding, so when the layout change to put everything on the same columns there will be space between each columns,

Second option would be to create different columns for mobile, when editing a column I think you can see the responsive options tab, from there you can select to hide the column on all devices except mobile or the opposite, hide the columns only on mobile.
So what you would need to do is select to hide you current columns on mobile and create new column with same content but different settings and make it show only on mobile.

If you could give us a link or more information about what is the current problem we maybe able to give you better advice.

Do not hesitate to contact us if you have other questions.

    Hi again,

Just wanted to say thanks for the advice - I ended up using the strategy of duplicating the elements and only showing one version for larger devices and the other version for smaller devices - works a treat!

Thanks for your help - The Fox Theme support has been great so far. :)

I recently ran in to the same issue. Normally when you want 6 columns on desktop that are small icons you would want 3 columns on mobile and not  1 on top of 1 stacked. This can be done by selecting 1/3 columns in the responsive tab. However your theme has CSS rules that circumvent this from occurring. Seems this could be remedied by improving theme CSS and not having us duplicate elements, please advise.

    Great theme FYI
