Best practice for detailed search results when using Visual Composer

We are using Visual Composer to fill pages and our blog with content. We are also using Advanced Custom Fields for several custom post types.
We noticed that while some WordPress search plugins are very powerful on indexing (ACF relationship field content is important here), when displaying results from pages created with VC, they display content and VC code jumbled together.

1.is there a best practice for searching and displaying VC content so it is readable for the person searching the website?
2.is there a way to filter out the VC code from text content?
3.can you recommend search plugins which offer multiple 'search engines', indexing of custom posts (and the content of relationship fields) AND search results with VC code cleaned content?

    Many thanks for your help!

    Hello Richard,

    1. Unfortunately the pages / post created with the visual composer start with shortcode ( the one used to create row ) and if your search page / plugins do not filter shortcode then you will have the shortcode showing up as text/

    2. You can do this by adding rules to the search query but it\'s not an easy thing to do

    3. Unfortunately we don\'t know a plugins currently capable to do this.

Sorry for not being able to help you this time, I hope you will find a plugin that fills your needs.

Do not hesitate to contact us if you have other questions.
