On my notebook computer and on my iPhone, I notice that TheFox logo shows for a significant amount of time before the page loads. I have attached a screenshot so that you know what I am referring to.
This does this when I am updating after making edits, and that is somewhat understandable. My concern is that it persists on different devices (that I weren't logged in and editing) and after I log off. I created one landing page and deleted all of the other demo pages from my backend. I literally only have that one home page on my WP installation and it is showing this delay on my site.
So far, I enjoy this Theme, but I am not a fan of distracting website visitors with images that are not related to why they are coming to my site. It reminds me of a Wix website when it is loading up. That is not what I am making a WP page for and it takes away from the professional look I'm aspiring for.
Please advise on how to eliminate this apparent theme latency. I haven't installed many plugins that aren't automatically associated with the them or WP 4.2.2
How can enable video for the non-mobile devices and a still shot for mobile devices simultaneously? The video is the ideal, but since mobile devices won\'t load the video, then I would like a still shot or screen capture of it to show as I have adjusted it now.
What you could do is create a different row with an image background, with column that only show on mobile ( edit the columns design option to change this ).
And set the columns of the row that use the video to be hidden on mobile.
Do not hesitate to contact us if you have more questions.
Good idea! I tried it and the Responsive Options in the Column Settings field only seem to affect the text in the particular column of the row. The row itself is still showing. There is no responsive option available in the row editing area.

Please remind me how to have my video play in the background on mobile devices (iPhone6)
Hello Coolty,
First about the page loader, you can edit the logo, color and if needed remove it, please check the documentation :
http://thefoxwp.com/wp-content/themes/TheFox/includes/documentation/thefox_documentation.html#set-pageloader
Also the video can\'t be loaded on mobile, because mobile usually load video in an other application.

Hello,
What you should do is edit the row and make sure to have the row top padding, bottom padding and margin to be set to 0
Set the padding to the row columns, then if you hide the columns the row will be hidden too ( because no padding and no content )
Do not hesitate to contact us if you have more questions.
