The frontend of our site is loading fine, but the Wordpress Admin area is a blank white screen.
I have disabled plugins, increased PHP memory and checked the .htaccess file via FTP.
I have the following repetitive error in the logs
[24-Feb-2016 08:29:54 UTC] PHP Warning: mkdir(): Permission denied in ~/public_html/wp-content/themes/TheFox/admin/redux-framework/ReduxCore/inc/class.redux_filesystem.php on line 131
The problem is that your server doesn\'t let the theme use the mkdir function, please contact your host and tell them about this problem, they should be able to let you use the function and this will fix the problem.
Do not hesitate to contact us if you have more questions.
That's strange if it was working previously, the theme tries to make new directory when the month change to create a new folder for the thumbnail but if you made the changes in the same month then I really don't know why.
But your host should be able to fix this by letting you use the mkdir functions.
The host has now fixed the mkdir issue, but it appears we now have another issue - unsure if it's related.
The blank white screen only seems to appear when I try to edit a post or page.
Other Admin screens are visible.
I have increased the PHP memory
When I deactivated the plugins (by renaming the Plugins folder via FTP) I got the following fatal error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function vc_set_default_editor_post_types() in /home/gapservi/public_html/wp-content/themes/TheFox/functions/vc-functions.php on line 31
Unsure how to troubleshoot if unable to deactivate plugins via FTP?
Also your support license is ending today, you may want to buy a new copy of the theme or extend it ( if you extend it today I think you still can get a discount )
Hi there,

Would this error cause the blank white screen?
I found the following ticket with the same error
https://tranmautritam.ticksy.com/ticket/456136
However, the 'redux' folder already exists in the uploads folder, with CHMOD 755
How else can I troubleshoot this error?
cheers,
H
Hello Howard, thanks for purchasing Thefox!

Thanks for that, we will forward the request on to the web host.
It\'s odd, however, as it was working previously.
The server was down yesterday, and then today we got this error and the blank Admin screen.
But before that, the theme was working perfectly.
Any reason that can suddenly cause this issue if it was working previously?

Any ideas what can cause this?
I deactivated the Jetpack plugin, and it appears to be working again.
I suspect it's an 'out of memory' error?
Any conflicts with the Jetpack plugin and this theme?
Hello Howard,
What you needed to do is to deactivate and delete the visual composer plugins,
Then update the theme to the latest version (1.50 or 1.51), then go to Appearance > install plugins to install the new version of the visual composer.
Do not hesitate to contact us if you have more questions.
Regards.
