I'm wondering if you could help me I'm having issues with the Blog layouts I'm very confused between the Blog type and Recent Blog posts.
I'm trying to use the Category Menu option so when people click on LGBTQ it goes to a page that shows all the posts in that category instead of creating separate pages but I can't control the design I have tried sometimes it works and sometimes it restores back to the design you see here http://www.revelationmag.com/blog-2/grid-2-columns/
The problem is that the category page will use the default blog style and not a custom blog style.
If you want to make modifications to the category page you would need to modify the index.php file and change the content with the grid blog html you can find in "Thefox/functions/rd_shortcodes/rd_blog.php"
Unfortunately our support doesn't cover those kind of modifications so we can't help you further.

By Default blog style you mean either Trending or Business or all the other blog options and designs available ? I don't want anything custom I basically want the category to be this http://thefoxwp.com/masonry-full-width/masonry-4-columns/ and if it's not possible using the catagoery I'm okay with creating a page with the blog element however, it doesn't update and stays the same design. http://www.revelationmag.com/blog-2/grid-2-columns/is it because of the link name I'm a bit confused.
I'm also having issues with Typography no matter what I do to them color, size or font it doesn't change.
I appreciate the links but I think my issues are a bit more complex than a simple tutorial.
Blog: in the screenshot I attached in my post i explained that I did setup the blog correctly however, design is not changing it stays the same regardless of what design I pick so I'm assuming it's probably a glitch of some sorts.
As for the Typography I would like to know which heading controls what so I'm able to accurately change the sizes. For instance my biggest issue right now is the body font size is too small but when I make it bigger the footer description gets huge too. is there another route ?

Hello Alexander,
By default blog style I mean the default blog style of the blog module.
To create a blog page you can do this like this : http://thefoxwp.com/wp-content/themes/TheFox/includes/documentation/thefox_documentation.html#create-blog
Then if you want to change the name of the page, you can change the permalinks ( the field under the page title when you are editing the page ).
For the typography, you can set the font and size from Thefox > Typography.
For the color it's different, the header color and from Header Styling
The main content fron Main content styling etc

Hello Alexander,
For the blog, did you have set the blog page from Settings > Reading?
This need to be like this : https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B4U2I7SLFLQYWGxZS01uNTVPbms
For the typography, the header and footer are using the same font settings, if you want to change the footer font size you can add custom css to :
#footer_bg
and
#footer_bg p
