I was wandering if it is possible to define a unique/separate menu for a particular page? The homepage is a onepager, with different sections, but there are 4 separate services pages at the moment. The anchorlinks on the homepage do not work (of course) on the services pages.
How can I solve this so that on the homepage the website does not have to load each time and still a particular section on the homepage can be reached form one of the services pages?
I completely understand the 2 menu concept previously explained by Richard, and I have it implemented on my site (can be seen here: www.oakshollistermusic.com ). The main Home page is a one-page, and the rest are external pages. Menus and page settings for both, are all set correctly. But, when on an external page - either clicking a Menu link to go to a section (anchor link) on the Home page, or even when creating a new tab/window and entering a link to go to a section (anchor link) on the Home page such as: www.oakshollistermusic.com/#projector , the link does not go to the correct position of the section (anchor link) on the Home page. Not just by a little bit, but it is not even close to the position/top of the section of the anchor link. I attached a screenshot of where the anchor link example I gave above (www.oakshollistermusic.com/#projector) goes to on the Home page when clicked and/or entered from an external page. If you look at where on the Home page it is supposed to go for the #projector section anchor link (the 'Gobo Projector' link in the Menu), you will see that it is no where even close to that section...PLEASE help with this, am getting beyond frustrated as to why this is happening..and FYI, it happens in all browsers. TIA!

Hello Richard,
Are you using the "One page" template for your home page?
What you should do is create two menu, one for the onepage, and for the the external page.
The onepage links need to be :
#scrollinglink1
#scrollinglink2
htp:/mysite.com/Igotoexternalpage1
htp:/mysite.com/Igotoexternalpage2
and for the external page ( main menu ) menu :
htp:/mysite.com/#scrollinglink1
htp:/mysite.com/#scrollinglink2
htp:/mysite.com/Igotoexternalpage1
htp:/mysite.com/Igotoexternalpage2
Use full url link for all the links.
Then go to Appearance > Menus > Manage location and add the first menu to onepage, and the second to main menu.
Do not hesitate to contact us if you have more questions.
