I have set a onepager menu and another second menu that is used to get back to the Contact section on the homepage from a separate other page. The anchor used in the menu is #baransu_contact. When clicking this menu item, the website does go back to the homepage, but does not scroll to the correct section with the anchor.
We will add a function to wait before scrolling when jumping from an other page, so the ajax content will have time to load, then the page will scroll to the correct height.
In this theme I only use the row id to get an anchor. Is it also necessary to add the row id as an extra class name if I want the anchor the function properly?
I replied to a similar post regrading this issue yesterday, see reply here. This all looks great and I hope it finally actual fixes this the problem. But unfortunately, I downloaded the customjs.zip file in the post below..and when I try to open/extract it, is says Windows cannot open the folder - The Compressed (zipped) file is invalid. Please help, TIA!

Can you maybe help out here?
Thank you.

Hello Richard,
Do you have any content in your page that load after you join the page?
Ajax content or something that changes the page height?

Hi,
Not that I know of. I have added a screenshot so you can see which plugins I am using. Nothing too fancy I believe :-)

Hi,
Small update:
On the homepage I have 4 icons that refer to anchors on another page. 3 of the links/anchors work correctly. The last one on the right does not.
It is strange behaviour that is inconsistent.
The fact that 3 anchors work okay would rule out the AJAX stuff right?
Regards,
Richard
Hi another update:
I figured out that the behaviour only occurs when jumping from Page A to an anchor on Page B. When the anchor is on the same page, the result is okay.

Richard

Hello Richard,
If you use a custom id for the row then it's enough to get the anchor and scroll function work properly.
