Hello! I'm trying to translate some words of the theme, but it has been impossible for me.
I have reviewed some tickets regarding this topic, but I have some doubts.
I installed poedit and I uploaded the translated files into the lang folder, but still appears in English.
I have installed the child theme, it could have something to do with it? I uploaded translated files to The Fox Theme because there is no lang folder on The Fox child theme.
Any idea what I can do? I want to translate the theme to the Spanish language.
It works fine!!, but I had to upload the file es_ES.mo to work properly. I added the code between the following lines: // If you want to add some custom function ?>
Have I done right? Everything seems to work, but I prefer to ask you to be sure I've done well

If you need to add your own lang file for the child theme please add this :
add_action( 'after_setup_theme', 'my_child_theme_setup' ); function my_child_theme_setup() { load_child_theme_textdomain( 'thefoxwp', get_stylesheet_directory() . '/lang' ); }to your child theme function.
Then insert create a lang folder in the child theme and inside it put the po file :
es_ES.po
This should translate the words.
