I have the Stripe extension for WooCommerce installed, and am getting
"Please enter your card details to make a payment. Developers: Please make sure that you are including jQuery and there are no JavaScript errors on the page.",
even after making sure all the card details were correct, when trying to complete a transaction. Per WooCommerce, this is usually an issue with the theme, and they suggested switching to a default WP theme and seeing if the issue persists.
I switched to the Twenty Fifteen theme temporarily, and the transaction went through without any problems. I then reactivated TheFox theme and disabled the few plugins I had that were not part of the theme's required plugins. With this setup, the issue persists.
The only error coming up on the console when the transaction fails is the following:
Unfortunately we don't do support for 3rd party plugins, but if this is the only error you get and this is causing the problem we may be able to help you.
Did you had this problem with the older version of Thefox?
Could you send us a link of the transaction page and where we can test the transaction.
Also since we don't have the plugin we can't test it on our test server it's really hard to tell, if the plugin don't need a license key to be activated and used could you send it to our team?
Also do they have a site where you can find documentation?
No, I do not have an older version of TheFox to test with.
Stripe payments processor is currently free on WooCommerce's site. Ive attached it here.
On WC Documentation page https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/stripe/ at the bottom, the exact issue Im experiencing is addressed directly from WooCommerce. They are saying its a JavaScript error or conflict in the theme. Ive tried disabling all plugins and the issue persisted with only the base theme. The only way Ive successfully completed a transaction was by changing the theme temporarily to WP's Twenty Fifteen.
The plugin will require a Stripe.com account (free) to do your own testing with.
We have an event coming up so I have the Stripe processor disabled to keep others from attempting to use it. If it becomes necessary I can enable it for a short period.
Not yet, our team is currently working on the visual composer 5.0, we are going to check this and see if we can solve the problem, our theme update is planned to be release for this weekend.
Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for your patience.
I see, how did you try the live mode without making real purchase?
If you can try to make an other order, then when this fail, make a right click on anything and click inspect element, then check the console, if you could give us a screenshot of the console and if we can see on which page you got this error this may help us to see the problem.
I know this is a few months old but I'm having the same exact problem with the WooCommerce Stripe plugin at checkout in test mode and live mode. It only started happening after updating Wordpress version and TheFox theme to the latest versions... all Woo plugins are the latest as well. Was there any solution here?
Kris, I had PM'ed them on Nov 11 with some additional info on my setup and where I was seeing the errors, and have yet to get a reply. FWIW, I have gotten it to work using the Stripe hosted method, which is enabled by checkbox in the Stripe plugin options. Its not as streamlined, and opens a popup for users to put in their card details, however during testing and with live sales it has worked without issue.
That said, for me to continue using The Fox theme, I really need Stripe to run in the native theme mode without popup windows.

https://mysite.com/wordpress_folder/wp-content/themes/thefox/images/icons/valid.png 404 (Not Found)
being called from jquery.js:4
Looking through the file structure of the theme, I cant find an /icons/ directory inside /images/

Hello Matt,
Thanks for the additional information, we will let our dev team check the plugin and see what could be causing this problem.
We will get back to you before the end of this week.

Hello Matt,
We tested the stripe plugin in test mode and didn't find any problem.
Are you using any other custom plugins?

Mine works in test mode too. Does not work in live mode.
I had deactivated all plugins (of the very few I had) at one time and tried, it did not work then either.
